Meet Winston

He couldn't weigh 8 ozs, but he still tries to show how tough he is when Luke approaches. He raises his back, and walks on his tippy toes. This went on for about 30 minutes before he finally worked his way out of the bathroom.

Here he is showing off his pretty blue eyes. I hope he keeps them. But we won't know for sure for a while longer. He's very playful with Luke, but I still need to keep my eye on them.

He was born July 30th, 2008 and is 6 weeks old in this photo. He's already climbing the stairs. Those claws come in extra handy if his jump to the next step falls a little short. Heck, he'll even use those claws to climb my bare legs. Yeowch!

A Kitty for Kimmie?

I finally decided to get myself a kitty. It helped to know someone who had a stray litter born in her yard. Then she emailed me photos, but I was completely sunk when I went out to see them. I would get first pick, because they were only 4 weeks old. But which one should I get?

Dog Park

So the dog park has become a big part of my life. I go almost every Saturday with my little Luke/Lloyd. We started this routine just before Cheyenne died, so she got to go for a few weeks too. Luke/Lloyd is making a lot of friends and getting lots of exercise. In this picture Luke/Lloyd is running between his two friends Kyla and Henry. Notice how all 3 dogs only have one paw on the ground. Kyla is one of Pam Nisson's dogs. Pam and I usually meet at the dog park with our dogs. So it's double the fun!

Just getting started...

Doesn't everybody blog now? Then it's about time I get started. So, this is my first entry...pretty boring, huh? I'll have to get inspired and return to make this worth your time!
